The meeting will begin with a keynote address by Dr. Penny Jeggo, a well known researcher, from the Genome Damage and Stability Centre, University of Sussex.
The meeting will consist of the following themes:
1) Epigenetic Contributions to Gene Activation
2) Epigenetic Mechanisms in Silencing
3) Chromatin Assembly, Chromosomal and Nuclear Architecture
4) Environment, Disease, and Genome Instability
5) Sensing and Repairing DNA Damage
Selected papers and abstracts from the oral and poster presentations will be presented in a special issue of the journal "Biochemistry and Cell Biology" and the conference agenda will also be available online in the near future.
